Hmmm..... A Colonial Williamsburg bag??? (Muffled rustling)
"Whew! It sure is good to be out of there! Where on Earth am I?"
"Oh, my! Someone is coming! I better hide."
"I don't see why I have to go and get the stink'n laundry basket. Why does Emma always boss me around? It's not my fault I'm to busy to pick up my clothes," Felicity mumbled. "Wait a second....... Who's there? Why on Earth is there a Williamsb..... WILLIAMSBURG?!?! THAT'S WHERE I'M FROM!!!!!" Felicity said excitedly, rushing to the bag.
"Who are you? Why are you dressed like me.......?" said Felicity to a little girl who looked no older than 8.(Sorry I use ellipsis (......) all the time!)
"Please excuse my manners. My name is Nan Sarah Merriman from the Williamsburg, Virginia colony. "
"Nan! It's you!!! It's me, Felicity Charlotte Merriman, but You always call me Lissie!" Felicity said excitedly, hugging her younger sister.
After much talking, laughing and hugging, Emma walked in. "Felicity, what you you doing? What's all this raucous about? I thought I told you to get a laundry basket to pick up that horrible, dirty pile of clothes in your room. And who's that?" (Trust me, I'm not nearly as fat as my shadow makes me look! Oh, and pay no attention to the handstrap on the right corner.)
"Sorry about the basket, I kinda got distracted, because I just found my sister, Nan!"
"Oh my goodness, Felicity! You didn't tell me we were having guests! I would have prepared a room for her! Well, uh, Nan, please tell me how you came all the way from Williamsburg to California!" Emma said, picking up Nan and putting her on her lap. "Oh, well, you see, I was in my father's shop, stacking ribbons and cloth on a shelf, when all of a sudden, a customer walked in and took me! He was rather nice, though, and wrapped me up all nice and cozy in some tissue paper and placed me in that bag over there. Though, I had no idea what had happened and where I was going, so I was terribly frightened! I was put in a big, black suitcase and put on a round, moving track, leading me onto a big flying machine for many hours, then somehow I ended up here! I had no clue my sister was here as well, so it was a bit of a shock when she found me!" Nan said, frightened that Emma would tell her to leave. "That's quite a story, Nan! You must have been thruogh a lot to get here. Your welcome to stay for as long as you want. That is, if you would like to." Emma offered.
"Hooray! I'd love to stay!" Nan called, and jumped up and gave Emma, then Felicity a big hug. "Now, let me introduce you to my friends, and then I'll show you around the house, then get your bed set up, and then show you the school you'll attend, then........." Felicity said, taking her sister's hand and going on and on and on about the tings they'll do as they walked away.
Okay, so I bet your curious about how I really got her, aren't you? Well, my dad went there and lived my dream. See, I have always wanted to go to Williamsburg, and I was so jealous when he went by himself! Oh, well. Anyway, he brought me and my siblings back a special gift from there, and Nan was mine! I'm so glad I got her, she's so adorable!
