Happy Birthday to Me. :)

Yay! Today is my b-day. I won't say how old I am for safety reasons, but I have been anticipating this day very long. :) :) No, it's not my sweet 16, (yet) but I still am glad it's here. I haven't opened any presents yet, but once I do I will tell you guys most definitely.

I also realize that my 1 year anniversary is on it's way! It's October Something, (I will have to go into the the archives to get the actual date) and I can't wait to have this huge thing! As I have decided something else, I wish to announce it. I will be re-starting the Fests again! Remember those?? It has been, like, forever. So I have decided to re-open it up starting the 24th. The theme shall be HALLOWEEN. So yes. It's going to be a Picture Fest, so snap and click away!!!!

Goodbye for a Month, Internet World! :'(

This is my last moments on internet for a month! Just wanted to say goodbye to my friends here and say that I'm going to put the video fest on hold for the month along with all my other celebration ideas. :( I'll miss you guys so much while I'm gone, and I'll jump at the chance to post whenever I can! Miss you all again!!

Emma's Fashion Tag and Some Not So Great News

Emma W. Tagged me with her fashion tag! I am actually still in my pajama's right now, but I already have what I'm going to wear picked out. I'm going to wear jean capri's and a grey shirt with silver beads and sparkles embellished along the top. My favorite part of that outfit is the shirt! I love all the beads and sparkles. :D Thanks Emma! I tag Priya, Spicemuffin and Phoebe.

As for the bad news, as you all know I am in the middle of moving. While we are looking for a house we have been temporarily staying in an apartment. We recently found a house, so we'll be moving in this Monday. The apartment has had Wi-Fi, so everything has been okay. But someone isn't coming to install our Wi-Fi in our new house until AUGUST 26. That's basically a whole month. D: No Wi-Fi for a month means no posts or e-mail for a month. I might be able to use library computers for sometimes, but I just wanted to let you know posts will be scarce in the month of August. The reason it will be so long is because the company is really backed up with Wi-Fi hookup appointments. If there is an opening before the 26th they said they could try to squeeze us in, but I doubt there will be an opening.

Well, I was thinking of some ideas of what time period that the new historical character that American Girl will have to come up after they officially retire Felicity and Elizabeth. Here are my ideas:

• Pilgrim
• Girl from the Gold Rush
• An Eskimo
• A girl from the 1950s

Good Day Ms. Felicity!

Hooray!! Felicity came today and I am thrilled! She is so beautiful. Her dress is so smooth and shiny and her mob cap is really cute. Her choker looks really nice and the lavender color is really lovely. The coin is another great part of her colonial collection. The brocade purse is fabulous with the woven flowers and the drawstring feature, and the handkerchief fits right in. The garters you can actually tie on her the way they tell you to in the little directions it comes with. She also comes with a shift under her dress that can double as a nightgown. I hope I persuaded you to get this doll, because she really is worth it!

I found out from numerous sites about the 2011 girl of the year, and here's what I know:

• Her name is Kanani
• She is Hawaiian
• Her 1st Book is called "Aloha Kanani"
• Her 2nd book is called "Good Job Kanani"
• On Amazon you can pre-order her books, but there is no image
• The books are by the same author of "Good Luck, Ivy"

Felicity Update

I am super close to getting Felicity and Here is a list of Felicity and Elizabeth's items that are back-ordered, out of stock, or sold out, which kind of stinks that so many felicity items are sold out or back-ordered. Though, it isn't a surprise about the tea set because it is always back ordered, and I'm sure once American Girl announced that Felicity and Elizabeth are going to be retired, people got really grabby for it. :)
