Who Could it Be?

Hmmm..... A Colonial Williamsburg bag??? (Muffled rustling)

"Whew! It sure is good to be out of there! Where on Earth am I?"

"Oh, my! Someone is coming! I better hide."

"I don't see why I have to go and get the stink'n laundry basket. Why does Emma always boss me around? It's not my fault I'm to busy to pick up my clothes," Felicity mumbled.  "Wait a second....... Who's there? Why on Earth is there a Williamsb..... WILLIAMSBURG?!?! THAT'S WHERE I'M FROM!!!!!" Felicity said excitedly, rushing to the bag.

"Who are you? Why are you dressed like me.......?" said Felicity to a little girl who looked no older than 8.(Sorry I use ellipsis (......) all the time!)

"Please excuse my manners. My name is Nan Sarah Merriman from the Williamsburg, Virginia colony. "

"Nan! It's you!!! It's me, Felicity Charlotte Merriman, but You always call me Lissie!"  Felicity said excitedly, hugging her younger sister.

After much talking, laughing and hugging, Emma walked in. "Felicity, what you you doing? What's all this raucous about? I thought I told you to get a laundry basket to pick up that horrible, dirty pile of clothes in your room. And who's that?" (Trust me, I'm not nearly as fat as my shadow makes me look! Oh, and pay no attention to the handstrap on the right corner.)

"Sorry about the basket, I kinda got distracted, because  I just found my sister, Nan!"

"Oh my goodness, Felicity! You didn't tell me we were having guests! I would have prepared a room for her! Well, uh, Nan, please tell me how you came all the way from Williamsburg to California!" Emma said, picking up Nan and putting her on her lap. "Oh, well, you see, I was in my father's shop, stacking ribbons and cloth on a shelf, when all of a sudden, a customer walked in and took me! He was rather nice, though, and wrapped me up all nice and cozy in some tissue paper and placed me in that bag over there. Though, I had no idea what had happened and where I was going, so I was terribly frightened! I was put in a big, black suitcase and  put on a round, moving track, leading  me onto a big flying machine for many hours, then somehow I ended up here! I had no clue my sister was here as well, so it was a bit of a shock when she found me!" Nan said, frightened that Emma would tell her to leave. "That's quite a story, Nan! You must have been thruogh a lot to get here. Your welcome to stay for as long as you want. That is, if you would like to." Emma offered.

"Hooray! I'd love to stay!" Nan called, and jumped up and gave Emma, then Felicity a big hug. "Now, let me introduce you to my friends, and then I'll show you around the house, then get your bed set up, and then show you the school you'll attend, then........." Felicity said, taking her sister's hand and going on and on and on about the tings they'll do as they walked away.

Okay, so I bet your curious about how I really got her, aren't you? Well, my dad went there and lived my dream. See, I have always wanted to go to Williamsburg, and I was so jealous when he went by himself! Oh, well. Anyway, he brought me and my siblings back a special gift from there, and Nan was mine! I'm so glad I got her, she's so adorable!

Felicity's Super Slumber Party (By Mia)

Ding Dong! The doorbell rang, and Felicity and I ran over to greet our friend Emily.

After everything was settled and things were put away, we decided to play Uno. I didn't have the best luck on that game. I ended up with the most cards- 10!

After the card game, I suggested a pillow fight. I don't mean to brag or anything, but I really dominated Felicity and Emily.Growing up with 3 hockey-crazy older brothers, I'm really tough skinned when it comes to stuff like that. Or, maybe because I had a GINORMOUS pillow.

After the pillow fight, we were pretty tuckered out, so Felicity showed us how to make friendship bracelets. Since Felicity is like, the master at making friendship bracelets, hers was waaaaay cooler than mine and Emily's simple ones. Felicity made this amazing rose pattern on hers!
**Note from Emma** I LOOOOVE this picture!! It really captures their friendship with each other.**

After the bracelets, Emily made up a game where we would pick our favorite joke from Coconut's Joke Book with really weird accents. I read mine with a Swedish accent. Shyah! :)

We got pretty hungry after that, so we made some really awesome apple cider. (With the help of Mrs. Merriman! Tee hee.) We also had leftover cupcakes I brought from my brother's hockey team victory celebration the other night.

It was pretty late, so we snuggled up in our sleeping bags, but we weren't ready to sleep yet! We talked and talked until it was about 11:00!!

Since it was 11:22, we decided it was definitely time to hit the sack.

We went to bed really late, so we obviously slept in late, too. To be exact, 9:45 in the morning! It's a good thing I don't have skating practice on Saturdays, or else I'd be sleeping on the ice! We woke up and went downstairs to have breakfast. Felicity's mom sure does know how to cook! It's been awhile since I had anything other than cereal for breakfast, since our schedules are so busy. It was nice to sit down and eat for once without having something to make you eat quick and hop out the door! After breakfast, we got dressed and said our goodbyes to one another, and left. It was so fun there, next time I might have to have one at my house........

Did you like it? I liked making it!!! :) Thanks for voting on my polls, too. I'm excited to see what will turn out!

Mia's Outdoor Adventure

With the weather becoming warmer and more like Spring, Mia decided to explore outside for a while.

She climbed tall trees, saw cool plants and smelled wonderful flowers.

After exploring for some time, she heard her stomach grumble, and decided to rest and eat the snack she packed.

When she stood up, her foot caught on a root and she tumbled over- right into a big plant of poison ivy!!

She quickly ran home, itchy, tired and sore. She jumped into a nice warm bath and slathered on soap and poison ivy lotion, vowing to herself shed be more careful next time!!

Did you like it? I had fun making it, but be sure to be careful when you bring your doll outside! Be sure to have your parents permission and/or supervision. =)

P.S. Please enter my contest!!

P.P.S. Do you like the new look? Vote on my poll about it, please!

Emily's Trip

Hi! Emily is above holding some AG Craft Stickers my Aunt gave me. They are so cute!

And now Emily will give you a tour:

Hello!  I'm going to show you all the cool things here. To start, Right now I'm on the treadmill! Now let's go outside.....

I'm standing here in the tree house! One summer they fixed it all up, (it used to be falling apart!) ,and now we can play in it!

Now I'm at the fire pit, where we toast s'mores, make ti-foil dinners, and just sit around!

This is just a fun stump to sit on. It even has a lamp right over it!

I'm standing under a beautiful pine tree. It smells good!

Now I'm on the HUGE hill where the cousins like to run, roll, and skip down! I love the view from up here. Brrrrr... Let's go back inside!

Here I am in the home theater where we watch movies. It's really fun!

This is the popcorn machine that makes popcorn for the theater. Mmmmm... it's delicious!!

This is an iron that Emma's grandma gave her. She also gave her the typewriter! Well, I hope you liked my tour, I sure did! See you next time!

Getting into the Christmas Spirit!

"Deck the halls with boughs of holly..." Sang Mia St. Claire, bringing in her boom box where she and her friends were decorating a Christmas Tree of their own in Felicity's attic. All the girls pooled their money together to buy a little Christmas Tree and decorations of their own.

"Fa la la la la, la la la la..." sang Felicity Merriman and Emily Talbot in unison. Felicity was stringing the lights onto the tree, while Emily was putting on the ornaments.

The girls finished the song and and Felicity came out from her bag, and said, "I had this great idea that we could decorate our own stockings, so the room would REALLY be Christmasy . What do you think?"

" I think I'm getting this one!" Mia said, reaching for a stocking with a green top. Soon the girls were all done decorating and were ready to put the finishing touches on the room.

"Oh, hey there Peppermint. What you got there, boy?
Oh, it's an ornament," said Felicity with a smile.
Emily was putting up a garland and Mia
was looking for the Nativity set, so Felicity was left with nothing to do. The girls had volunteered to help at the Wild at Heart Animal Shelter. Since the shelter has been full, they also volunteered to bring home animals that they didn't have room for at the moment, and bring them back when they did. Peppermint was one of them. The girls were trying to have as much time as they could with him, because tomorrow they had to give him back
"Well, since you found it, I guess it's only fair you put it on,'' Felicity said, picking up Peppermint carefully. She helped him put it on the tree. "There, I can't wait 'till Mia and Emily see it," Felicity said with satisfaction.
"Oh, you finished the tree, let me turn on the lig- OH! I need to get something!!" Emily said, rushing out of the room.

"It's okay, Emily, I've already got the topper!" Mia yelled, but Emily already had rushed out. "Oh, I can't reach the top!" Mia said in exasperation.

"Felicity, could you give me a boost?" "Sure, Mia, I'll try!" Felicity said, going behind Mia.

"Almost got it... and it's on!!" Mia said to Felicity.

"Great job!" Emily exclaimed, surprising the girls so that they fell down."Oh no! I'm so sorry!" "It's Okay, Emily, it was kind of fun!" Felicity said, and the girls laughed.
