With all the name changing around here, I was wondering if I should change my Emily's name SPELLING, to distinguish her from the historical Emily. A lot of people have commented on how I "stole" Emily's name, and I am getting annoyed. So should she stay Emily or be Emilee?

Hi I follow your blog =)
ReplyDeleteI think that you should choose the spelling you like best. If you like Emily best that's okay she can have the same name as the historical Emily. =)
I think you should keep it as Emily! :)
ReplyDeleteI personally like Emilee! It is more creative :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's name is spelled Emilee.
ReplyDeleteI think you should keep it as Emily, but do whatever you like best
ReplyDeleteHi! I love your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI like Emilee better. Or another way to spell it that I like is Amelie (pronounced same way.) Or whatever you like best! :)
Emilee! Cool spelling! Anywho, you didn't "steal" Emily's name, you just liked it a lot and you wanted to be your dolls name! It's your choice!

Come on people! If you wouldn't say the comment to her face, don't comment at all! It's called cyber bullying and is a criminal offense(in Canada at least). Also if she wants her doll's name to be Emily/Emilee so be it, it's her doll.
