Meera McCarthy is 10-year-old girl living in Charlottesville, Virginia. She takes Indian dance lessons with her best friend, Asha Patel. While the dancers are preparing for a performance, Asha takes a fall that leaves her with a broken leg, which makes her unable to perform with the other girls. As the star dancer, Meera knows that she must lead the other girls in the performance to be able to perform without Asha next week. My Doll Room Closet

Hey! So this weekend I was working on a really big project I am so excited to share with you. I transformed all this empty space in my closet into doll rooms! I am really proud of them. :D I hope you like them too!

Yay! So fantabulous!!! (I love that word...)

So, This is the bedroom (more like a scene than a real room as there are 3 dolls and 1 bed)

The wall! Familiar picture up, huh?

Ah, the library. I made the shelf out of a box, made shelves out of cardboard pieces, printed out pics of AG books and VOILA! You have a bookshelf. The library sign is sloppy, naturally, since I wrote it...

The classroom! Super cluttered, as a classroom ought to be, and a cruddy substitute for a desk, as I don't have a doll one (yet).

And, my personal fave, the dance studio!! The ballet bar is actually one of those bars that you hang hangers on, I just moved it down a lot. (And don't worry, the one I moved was empty; my other one has the hangers on it)

Gabby's Dream Girl of the Year 2013 Contest!

With my parent's permission, I'm entering I Heart American Girl's GOTY contest.

So here goes:

Georgiana

Living in Pocatello, ID Georgiana Compton is a really avid reader and skier. She loves the feel of flying down the hill, letting the skiis swerve with her. When a new family moves in, Georgiana is excited at the chance of making a new friend. When she meets the new girl Evelyn Fraye, she's really disappointed. (Read about her in the paragraph below) They are complete opposites! Evelyn is naturally pretty, smart and shy. Georgiana doesn't try to make friends, but when Evelyn saves her from the biggest mistake of her life, she realizes that Evelyn is the ideal friend. Evelyn

Evelyn Fraye is a shy girl, not sure when she should come out of her shell. Both her parents died, and she moved to Pocatello to be adopted. When she sees Georgiana, she immediatly likes her. Evelyn isn't great at making friends because of her shy nature, though. When Georgiana could make a serious mistake, she realizes, whether this girl wants to be her friend or not, she needs to warn her.

70 Followers and Happy 2012!

Hey! Many Thanks to all my 70 followers!! :D This is also my 1st post of 2012!

Fun, eh?

Anyway, here's some stuff I hope gets done this year:

• I go the the AG Place to buy a doll or big item
• Start an Etsy shop
• Make a real, full length doll play/ movie
• Take more pics!

Hopefully stuff gets checked off that list.

I have been devising plans to earn  money to buy a Lanie doll off eBay (They vary from 145-175$ w/ shipping) sometime this year. I have about 110 dollars. Any suggestions for how to raise money that's realistic? (I'm probably not going to organize a city wide talent show soon.... :D)
